Stencil Packaging

Is it weird that I get excited about how I package my stencils? Probably. But who doesn’t like to receive a package in the mail that you have purchased only to find not only is it what you wanted, but it’s adorable!

My conversation heart saying cookie stencil has been selling pretty well on Etsy (The ‘Shop’ tab above has the link to my store) and I love choosing the packaging components. Because most items that are shipping right now are Valentine’s day themed, I decided to pair the stencil with heart themed cardstock. I then place the stencil and card stock in plastic and place that into a cardboard mailer.

I have also been printing the mailing address and return address for a fun touch.

Sweet Heart Sugar Cookies

One of the most iconic images surrounding Valentine’s Day for me are conversation heart candies with fun sayings that I strategically gave and received as a child. Though I was never really fond of the taste, it was still a fun way to communicate with friends and young love interests at school. I decided to use these candies as inspiration for this adorable Valentine’s Day gift idea, Sweet Heart Sugar Cookies!

I created the mini heart cookie cutter and coordinating stencil, which you can purchase here. The cookie boxes can be found here.

The mini heart stencil is 1.5″ x 1.5″ and I can fit 12 cookies in each box.

I meant to do a better job taking pictures and detailing the process, but that will have to wait for another day 🙂

First blog post

So here I am, finally starting a blog that I have wanted to do for so long! Why, you ask? Well, I’m just not busy enough with my day job, 3 children, husband, pets, school board, school activities, and hobby bakery out of my home. Ha!

I enjoy decorating cakes and cookies and want to show others how to make yummy treats, as well as, design and sell cookie cutters and stencils to make your own!

So here we go, and here’s to 2018!
